ISTANBUL, TURKEY -- Erdem Çenesiz, the president of Turkey Ceramics Federation and the Chairman of Glass and Ceramics Exporters Union, has invited the Americans to Unicera, one of the world's biggest specialized trade fairs in ceramics, bathroom and kitchen furnishings.
The Cement, Glass, Ceramics Exporters Union, which continues its international promotion activities in the ceramics field under the brand "Turkishceramics" to increase the Turkish ceramics market share in the U.S., has initiated collaborations with the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), Tile Contractors Association of America (TCAA), Tile Council of North America (TCNA) and National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA).
"Turkishceramics" introduced the Turkish ceramics at the Total Solution Plus conference this year in Dallas, TX, which is organized jointly by the four associations.

During the meeting held from October 27 to 30, 2018, with a total of 500 participants within the scope of the four-day long program, Çenesiz gave a presentation regarding the production and export capacity of the Turkish ceramics industry. Stating that Turkey ranked as the fifth largest exporter in ceramic tiles and fourth in the vitrified ceramic installation materials in the world, Çenesiz added, "Our industry has the potential to rise to third place considering the growth in recent years thanks to the investments of our ceramic companies.
"Turkey's ceramic tile exports to the U.S. have increased by 25% in 2017,” he added. “This increase is 11% in the vitrified ceramic installation materials. The U.S. is an essential market for Turkey; Turkey, with the production capacity and product quality, is an important country for the entire world."
Unicera, organized on 160,000 square meters of exhibition ground, will be held from February 5 to 9, 2019, at CNR Expo in Istanbul, Turkey.
