This year, Cevisama is scheduled to take place from January 28 to February 1, 2019, at the Feria Valencia Center in Valencia, Spain. The international ceramic exhibition showcases the newest, most up-to-date products relating to architecture, bathroom and kitchen equipment, natural stone, raw materials, frits, glazes, colors and even machinery. During the same time period, Spain’s foremost kitchen furniture and equipment event, Espacio Cocina - Sici, will also be held at the Feria Valencia Center, with hopes of giving attendees a two-for-one stop.

Last year, Cevisama welcomed more than 90,000 visitors from all over the world — a number that keeps growing exponentially with each passing year. It also broke records with more than 800 exhibitors from 40 countries, signaling a positive growth in the industry. Exhibitors were congratulating show organizers on last year’s success and new exhibitors were already onboard for this year’s edition, according to Cevisama president, Manuel Rubert.

“Cevisama 2019 is set to be an historic edition, as it will mark the fair’s consolidation as a global leader,” said Rubert. “From what we have sensed since the end of last year’s show, we are convinced that we will see significant growth in ceramic tiles, bathrooms and natural stone. We need to give it everything we can from now on to ensure the aisles are full of distributors and specifiers; this is our commitment to our exhibitors.”

Rubert is also very optimistic that this year’s edition will outshine all prior years, with an increased budget dedicated to sales and marketing initiatives to target more architects, interior designers and property developers. “We are going to beat the record, in terms of exhibition space we sell and the number of professionals who come to visit, which is where we need to make the most effort,” he said.

“We will again be featuring eminent professionals in our education program, including winners of the Pritzker Prize for architecture,” added Cevisama’s director, Carmen Álvares, while also highlighting the new pavilion being added this year to accomodate more tile and bathroom furnishing exhibitors.
