AURORA, CO -- Uzin Utz North America recently announced the addition of Pieter de Lange as their new director of manufacturing and safety. Mr. de Lange brings more than 20 years of engineering and plant management experience to the Uzin Utz North America group.

Most recently, he was site leader for the largest ceramic and porcelain production facility in North America, managing both the transition and integration of the plant after a major acquisition, as well as leading the team that managed the 450 person workforce. His other skills include P&L management for manufacturing venues, ISO certification preparation, plant capital expenditures planning and budgeting, as well as workplace safety development and implementation.

His new role will include overseeing and implementing the North American plant operations development plan for Uzin Utz North America, and safety planning and implementation for all company venues. He will report directly to the president, Matthias Liebert.
