SASSUOLO, ITALY -- Cersaie, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, will once again be hosting the initiative, “Cersaie Designs Your Home,” on Thursday, September 30, and Friday, October 1, in the Media Village (located in the Services Center). Now in its ninth edition, the event maintains its well-established format in which designers from major Italian interior design magazines offer free advice to visitors intending to renovate their homes or purchase a new property. The event is a unique opportunity for homeowners to get expert advice on renovating their properties and is part of Cersaie’s efforts to reach out to end consumers, who are becoming increasingly autonomous in their purchasing decisions.

A total of 12 magazines will be taking part in this year’s event: 100 Idee per Ristrutturare, Casa Naturale, CerMagazine, Cose di Casa, Design di Repubblica, I Love Parquet, Il Bagno Oggi e Domani, Lavorincasa.it, Ville & Casali, Wellness Design, Youbuild and Youtrade.

The website, www.cersaie.it, will provide homeowners with detailed information on the event and will also list all the magazines taking part in “Cersaie Designs Your Home,” with links to the publishers’ websites. All homeowners taking part will receive a copy of Ceramica Amica, the practical manual that provides simple explanations of how to use ceramic tiles in one’s home. Information boards will provide directions to the area of the exhibition centre where the service is provided and help end consumers locate the magazines in the Media Village.

Special attention will be given to the Superbonus initiative and other incentives for renovating apartments, villas and condominiums. A conference entitled “Superbonus and incentives for ceramics and sanitaryware,” will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, in the Media Village to take stock of the incentives and opportunities available to companies. It will see the participation of Emilio Mussini, vice chairman of Confindustria Ceramica; Enrico Celin, chairman of Angaisa; and Lucia Positano, tax senior manager at PwC TLS, a leading legal and tax consulting firm, which provides advisory services to sectors including heating, plumbing and ceramics.
