TCNA Members Donate Tiled Doghouses to The Animal Foundation

TCNA Dog House Donations 4 (1).jpg — Anthology (booth # N2714) wanted to provide a rescue with a really special home, because a spoiled pooch needs a posh palace.

The inspiration for Anthology’s doghouse came from the current bold, black and white design trend. Anthology’s unique marble mosaics tile the roof, perfectly modeling real shingles, and the black accents are just the right finishing touch. Ceramic tiles from Walker Zanger adorn the front and back of the elegant doggie villa. Anthology’s sleek, clean, white subway tiles complete this masterpiece. Don’t forget the charcoal puppy paws, made from Anthology’s circular stone mosaics. Anthology hopes these pups enjoy their hound hideaway and find their forever home.

TCNA Dog House Donations 3.jpg — *Left:* The front of Syzygy’s doghouse is clad in their 3" Cadence Lo in Aspen Bark, and the sides feature 2" Cadence Lo and alternate between their Blanca and Lava glazes. The roof showcases Syzygy’s Quite Contrary Mosaic in a custom-blend of gloss, matte and metallic finishes featuring the following glazes: Powdered Sugar, Aspen Bark, White Satin, Bone, Vanilla, Milk, Bruce White, Black, Matte Black, Gold Gimmer, Ivory and Snow White. The back of the doghouse features a striking pattern with Syzygy’s Parallelogram #2 in Aspen Bark.
*Right:* Crossville's doghouse showcases tile from their Classic Grooves collection with a palm mosaic roof. The doghouse also features Snow and Ice glass and natural stone stacked mosaics trim from their Ebb and Flow collection.

TCNA Dog House Donations 2.jpg — *Left:* Casa Ceramica’s Las Vegas-inspired doghouse was designed and installed by their in-house design and installation team. The tiles and trim pieces are from Casa Ceramica’s most popular tile collections: Mediterranean and Palacio. The plaque and bones are handmade locally in Florida and add a final playful touch.
*Right:* Puppies deserve trendy digs! One lucky pup will reside in this visually-striking, biophilia-inspired home. Created by Florida Tile, this doghouse features Cotto d’Este 3.5 mm Kerlite Wonderwall (finish: Natural; color: Foliage).

TCNA Dog House Donations.jpg — *Left:* This year’s American Wonder Porcelain doghouse is fit for a high roller! Featuring a bold mix of the dramatic, marble-look Adagio Porcelain and Aegean Stone Porcelain on the exterior, the house includes fun poker chip and playing card accents at its entrance. There is also the famous “A Friend in Need” from the “Dogs Playing Poker” painting series by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge on the inside. Any pooch would be all-in for this ace of a house.
*Right:* As Jeffrey Court celebrates its 30th anniversary, they felt it fitting to design a doghouse honoring this grand celebration by transporting their favorite four-legged friends to a black-tie event. With its black and white theme, the doghouse was designed as the perfect outfit every fashion icon needs for a grand ball event.

Tile Council of North America, Inc. (TCNA) members will donate handcrafted, one-of-a-kind tiled doghouses to “The Animal Foundation” at Coverings 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The participating companies include: American Wonder Porcelain (booth N2314), Anthology (booth N2714), Casa Ceramica (booth N2226), Crossville, Inc. (booth N2304), Florida Tile (booth N2504), Jeffrey Court (booth C4835), and Syzygy Tile (booth N2127).

The forms used to make the doghouses were custom manufactured and contributed by Wedi Corp. (booth 2371).

“TCNA is pleased to work this year with The Animal Foundation to help them achieve their goal of helping Las Vegas-area pets,” remarked TCNA Marketing Director Kathy Meyer. “Our members’ generosity and commitment to this wonderful cause are on display in each of these unique masterpieces. The doghouses are a showcase of yet one more way tile can be used to make a home a work of art.”

“The Animal Foundation is thankful to TCNA and its members for providing these beautifully-designed doghouses, which will be available at our annual Best in Show fundraising event," said The Animal Foundation Director of Development Cassie McIntyre. "Funds raised from their auction will go a long way towards providing the care and treatment needed for the nearly 25,000 animals we take in annually. We appreciate TCNA's support in helping thousands of homeless, injured, and neglected Las Vegas Valley animals waiting to find a home and family to love."

During Coverings 2022 the doghouses will be displayed in TCNA’s booth 2328.
