The Crea collection from Ariana combines the company’s longstanding tradition in the field of high-quality designer wall tiles with the extraordinary advantages of W&P, an innovative and exclusive technology that ensures outstanding aesthetics and ease of use. Crea combines the appeal of post-industrial plaster and concrete with sophisticated pastel tones to create soft seductive surfaces in which pearly materials alternate pleasingly with satin backgrounds and unexpected three-dimensional effects. Offered in five different colors, the ceramic panels are produced in two sizes — 60 x 120 and 30 x 120 cm.
Ege Seramik’s new introduction, Metropolitan, is a collection of slightly textured glazed porcelain tiles that combines a modern concrete look with story patchwork units to create a not-so-traditional design. Available in two different decorative options — Story and Bronx — and in four colors with V2 shade variation — Grey, Beige, Brown and Antracite — these matte-finished tiles are available in four sizes, including 12 x 24, 18 x 18, 18 x 36 and 24 x 24 inches. The patterns have “no rules,” making the final installation true random art.
A post-industrial air of late 20th century factories lies within the Cor-Ten collection by Faetano: a striking and distinctive metallic effect given by the replicas of studs, hinges and nails and the unique graphic elements on each décor. Every single tile is a decorative element with flashes of the working world of times past, fashioning special and unique settings. The effect is an austere and industrial atmosphere, yet one filled with nostalgia and memories. Cor-Ten is available in one standard format and two colors — Beige and Gray.
iQ Power Tools introduces the first dry-cut tile saw designed to cut ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone. The iQTS244® is a 10-inch dry-cut tile saw specifically created for professional tile setters and contractors. With the world's first fully integrated dust-control technology, this innovative tool allows for tile to be cut inside or outside with no water and no dust discharge. Additionally, it is lightweight, compact and built on wheels for easy transport to and from jobsites. The iQTS244® utilizes a three-stage filtration system which captures up to 99.5% of the dust.
Lea Ceramiche’s Trame collection of porcelain tiles comes in three surface effects — plaster, matter and canvas — which are available in two standard sizes — 36 x 36 and 12 x 36 inches — as well as a range of special sizes that allow for endless patterns and customization. The different formats are easily combined, opening up unlimited potential for continuous surfaces. A suite of grayscale and natural color tones complements the different surface effects to form a collection that is both organic and contemporary.
The Prova Tile Edge series from Loxcreen Flooring Group now includes a cost effective, yet premium quality stainless steel trim solution you have been searching for. These solid stainless steel tile trims and corners provide strength and durability for numerous applications without sacrificing style or finishing flare with a subtly brushed finish. Stainless steel trims are typically selected for more challenging applications where aluminum just won’t do the trick. Exterior, wet and/or sanitary environments most commonly call for stainless steel due to the unique rust-resistant and inert properties of this material.
Schluter-Systems has introduced Schluter®-DESIGNBASE-SL, a new top-set wall baseboard that provides a unique alternative to traditional baseboards in commercial buildings and condominiums. Because it is made of metal, DESIGNBASE-SL provides added durability and won’t crack or shrink over time, eliminating a common problem with many commercial baseboards. Made without the anchoring leg used on traditional Schluter profiles and trim pieces, DESIGNBASE-SL is designed to be installed after the floor and is suitable for use over any type of new floor surface.
Walker Zanger introduces the new Stardust collection, featuring mosaic tile that is waterjet cut from lava stone and glazed. Drawing inspiration from celestial themes, 1970s glam and textiles, the Stardust collection features a variety of sleek modern patterns to create a unique visual language. The patterns bring to mind designers, including Vernor Panton and David Hicks, and are inspired by heavenly bodies with names such as Apollo, Cosmos, Eclipse and Zenith. Its six celestial-themed color names alternate between twinkly silvers, deep-space blacks, heavenly whites and starry golds.
