RedGard® Liquid Waterproofing and Crack Prevention Membrane
RedGard® Liquid Waterproofing and Crack Prevention Membrane from Custom Building Products is a ready-to-use, elastomeric product with outstanding adhesion that provides a seamless waterproof barrier and reduces crack transmission in tile and stone floor installations. One coat helps isolate subfloor movement up to 1/8 inch and two coats waterproofs. RedGard® may be installed using a paint roller, trowel or airless sprayer. Designed for both interior and exterior substrates, it exceeds ANSI A118.10 and ANSI A118.12, is listed with IAPMO as a shower pan liner and can achieve a heavy-duty service rating.

True dual-depth pinless moisture meters
True dual-depth pinless moisture meters have been developed by Lignomat. The moisture meters are calibrated to measure moisture in hardwoods, engineered floors, OSB, AdvanTech, plywood and other sub floors, as well as horizontal, vertical and strand bamboo. A qualitative scale for concrete moisture is included. The meter can also be used to measure moisture problems under tile. All calibrations are available for a measuring depth of 1/4- and 3/4-inch deep.

Prova-Mat from M-D Building Products, Inc. is a thin polypropylene waterproofing membrane designed to be applied with thinset under ceramic or stone tile to most common substrates that are flat, dry and structurally sound. Prova-Mat provides a vapor barrier ideal for residential steam room applications. Convenient accessories are available to facilitate Prova-Mat installations such as pre-formed Prova Corner(s), Prova Joint strip, and Prova Pipe-Seal. Prova-Mat does not support mold growth, has exceeded the ANSI standard for residential steam shower application, and is ICC-certified.
Planiseal MSP adhesive isolator, sealer, moisture-control membrane and self-leveling primer
Planiseal MSP is a two-coat, high solids, polymer-based adhesive isolator, sealer, moisture-control membrane and self-leveling primer from Mapei. It protects flooring installations against subfloor moisture and pH in concrete slabs with moisture vapor emission rates up to 15 lbs. (6.80 kg) per ASTM F1896, relative humidity (RH) up to 99% per ASTM F2170 and alkalinity protection up to a pH of 12. Planiseal MSP eliminates the need for a secondary primer for self-leveling underlayment applications. The product comes in a water-based formulation for ease of use, cleanup and storage.
Moisture Lock 101® chemical hardener
Moisture Lock 101® from NAC Products is a clear, water-based, chemical hardener for porous and cementitious substrates that reacts with the free lime and calcium carbonate in concrete to fill and seal pores, and capillaries to harden and dust-proof surfaces. It maximizes the coverage of NAC primers by sealing the substrate and minimizing absorption. It contains 0% V.O.C. content and will not salvage honeycombed or structurally unsound surfaces, but is an effective solution to harden and seal patching/leveling compounds, moderately hard concrete, mud beds, gypsum/gyp-crete and lightweight concrete.
Prodeso uncoupling and waterproofing membrane
Prodeso by Progress Profiles is an uncoupling and waterproofing membrane in polyethylene with new drop-shaped cavities. The membrane is double-sided, with a non-woven polypropylene thermos-welded fabric that guarantees the application even for old tiles and not perfectly cured screed. Suitable for problematic substrates, balconies and horizontal surfaces of any dimensions, Prodeso neutralizes the vapor pressure. It does not transmit the tension of the substrate to the floor and it’s not necessary to make expansion joints in the screed underneath the membrane before laying ceramic.

Schluter-Kerdi-Tubkit
The process of waterproofing the tub surround before tile installation has just been made easier with the Schluter-Kerdi-Tubkit from Schluter-Systems. The kit creates a completely waterproof environment, eliminating the possibility of damaging leaks and mold. The kit consists of one roll of Schluter®-Kerdi waterproofing membrane specifically sized for a standard tub surround, a tube of Kerdi-Fix sealing and bonding compound to create a waterproof seal around the tub flange, a 4 1/2-inch mixing valve seal and a 3/4-inch pipe seal to ensure that no moisture can enter the wall cavity.
